The Sky Lying on my back, I stared up at it, with it, as if it was my companion. The bright blue that was spotted with white clouds of all sizes felt as though it was spinning before me, but really it was just there, as always, staring back at me and watching itself, from the hill outside time. I knew I shouldn't have been in the place where time was slow, that strange place that lay on the outskirts of town, but I didn't care what father had to say. I was fifteen, I did what I wanted. Slowly, I pushed myself back to my feet, breathing a loud sigh that was heard by only the wind; the wind that blew through the sky I longed for. Stepping slowly down the hill, my feet creating small crunching sounds in the grass, I made my way to the arch that was the only way to pass to the hill. It was pretty bizarre to me that there should be a barrier just around a hill with only one entry, but then, it was a hill where time moved 1000 times caster for the person inside. My guardian, rather, the man who was supposed to be watching me for my lord father, seemed to be stumbling toward the ground just outside the arch when I reached it again. He'd been trying to catch me and take me home before I got in here. I guessed that I would have to catch him when I came out of the arch, so I tried to plan the movement carefully. Dashing quickly through the arch and under Athenos, I caught the tall man around his belly from under him and pushed him up. Making the peace sign, I had tried to walk away, but he grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, saying, "Now master Logan, you wouldn't want to anger your father, would you?" At the time, I didn't answer... Because I was too busy longing for the heights that would be my downfall.

Opinionated Complaints Of A Teenage Geek - 1 So, if I wrote into this like a diary or something stupid like that, would I feel like an idiot? Yes. I would. So, in fact, I'm going to whine about nothing and everything all at once. Then maybe someone will hug me, yays. So I started to write a story here, then I forgot about it... So now I've lost my train of thought on it, and will probably begin something new, from scratch. Meh, if only I had a unique idea that didn't see itself revolving around fighting. That doesn't really work in stories, I've found, it's more of a manga/anime thing. Not that it's stopped me TRYING to write fights of course, cause let's be honest, violence can be fun, in the right context. Swerving in a different direction, I've basically lost my faith in you, humanity. Mate, you're a jerk. All ya do is stand there, cause problems gor yourself, then blame it on someone else instead of trying to fix it. But of course I've no evidence to present to support this claim, therefore I'm nothing more than an idiot stumbling around in the dark... A distasteful scene, if you ask me. But you don't, so bleh. 2 - Perspectives Colors. That's what I saw, colors swirling around me, each a small square as it went, until all the colors began to fade, leaving me floating in an uncertain black space, alone... Or was I? I turned my head to the right, where I saw her. The woman who I had just helped. "What the hell's going on?" I said to her, startled by the strange place of darkness we appeared to be in. "...This was the only way we could talk, Takumi," was how she replied. I stopped for a moment and just looked at her. How had she learned my name? Just what was this place? It was definitely apart of my major concerns, but first to question why the woman was here. It was straight-forward, really, as all I had to say was: "Where are we and who are you?" It's about this point that all the explaining begins to happen. If you're some kinda crazy person who doesn't care about what's going on, then please, just skip this bit and move on to the action bit that comes up in a few... Er... Eventually. "Takumi, this is your mind," she began, "And here in your mind is where I have to come to talk to you. My name is Aoi, and I'm... Well, I'm different to most people, see. I can't stay outside for long, I'm required to live inside someone's body with them... And on top of that, there's some knowledge that I have that a certain organisation want." I stared at her for a few moments, before I thought to myself, 'Swell...', and she began to laugh at me... Which was exactly when I realised that she could hear my thoughts too. Great. Now I really had no idea what to do at this point, I wanted to point and tell her to get out, but that would've been extremely rude, and that ain't me. So here's what I told her: She can stay inside my mind, as long as she doesn't have the power to screw with my thoughts, and she can indefinitely hang with me. I told her that I'd keep her safe for a while, and was actually quite happy to hear that was all she wanted. At least I knew that she wouldn't have to walk around in rags in my mind, because she can wear... well, whatever she wants. Anyway, then my mind faded before me, and I opened my eyes, finding myself lying down on the ground. The woman was nowhere to be found, and I began to question whether she was ever really there before a voice in the back of my head starts. "Don't you have somewhere to be, 'Tako'?" she mockingly questioned me, before I realised that I told Nanami I was coming over. I looked up into the sky, seeing that the clouds were now over the city. Good thing I was just around the corner from her place. I ran around the corner, and walked up the stairways, all the way up to her apartment, number 19 in the building it was. I opened the door.

1 - Beginnings A cold wind blew throughout the city, and I could tell that it was going to be a long day as I moved through those grey streets. I looked up and around, trying not to let this ominous feeling of something coming affect me, and failing miserably. I found myself looking around every few moments in a paranoid sort of way, attempting to discern just what the coming disaster was. The city still felt completely normal; cars drove by on the street, people of all different races met up... Mostly though, people avoided mutants, and other beings they detested for their own selfish reasons. I myself am different from the average citizen in this city, due to my strange ability to notice when something was brewing (and I mean that metaphorically and literally). I sighed, as I realised in my lookings that the sky appeared to be blotched with grey clouds towards the horizon. It would rain again, and I woukd get my favourite jacket wet - that's the kind of thing I was bothered by back then. I shoved my hand into my jacket pocket and pulled out my phone, calling my girlfriend. "Tako~" she'd said, the pitch of her voice heightening to express her excitement at recieving the call. "Hey, Nanami," I muttered into the phone, "Mind if I come over?" "Takumi, when do I ever mind? Seriously..." she groaned at me. I sighed and told her that I'd be around in a few minutes. And that was about the point where shit started to go down. Going to Nanami's house involved going through a bad area, and heading through there, as I walked by an alley, I saw a small group of men who appeared to be wearing suits and surrounding a young woman. I told myself to put my morals aside and leave it, until I saw the reason she was cowering before those men - each had a gun pointed straight at her. I did what anybody would have done: I ran straight at one of the men and punched him straight in the face, before they each strangely phased out of reality with a static-like noise. Confused, I approached the young woman, who appeared to be dressed only in rags, and offered her my hand. She reluctantly reached out for my hand, took it, and as she did, the world around me faded to black...
