Anazara Prologue Year 2021 I stood in Washington DC, a couple hundred yards from the White House with a sword in my hand, all I could do was stand there, my eyes scanning the presidential gardens around me. Dead soldiers lay scattered as far as the eye could see, several wore silver armor as others wore grey. The white house couldn't really be called white anymore as it smouldered a dark black smoke. A black dragon laid on the Capitol building behind me, blood spiderveined down the side. Other buildings were either smouldering or still had blazing fires burning, huge black columns of smoke rose to where the sun should have been, filling the sky. Trees everywhere burned large orange fires, patches of grass were scorched leaving an eerie feeling in the white house yards. The streets were a bone chilling silent leaving only the sound of the wind and the popping of burning buildings and trees. Only ten minutes before the streets were filled with screaming citizens trying to avoid the carnage that was taking place. I watched as my best friend walked away from my side, he only made it ten feet before he dropped to the ground and hung his head over. He screamed in anger and sadness, now that the battle for earth had ended he had a moment to grieve for all he had lost. Now that the war was over I didn't know what I was going to do, what could I do after what I'd seen, what I'd done. What would anyone do now that our worlds had officially crossed paths? I surely couldn't see an alliance between Earth and Anazara, but all we could do now, was wait.
