THE FARM It was the 1st of September 1939 when a boy, Albert Ernest Clyde was packing for the evacuation that many thousands of children were going to have to go through. Albert lived in a two bedroom flat with a kitchen and a toilet block out back that about twenty people had to share. Albert lived with his mum, Elizabeth and his younger four year old brother Edward Thomson Clyde. Albert needed to share a room with his brother and there mum had her own room that she used to share with there dad that had been working in a mill an had an accident with a piece of machinery and was killed. Albert was a 9 year old boy that wasn't that Wealthy but still had money to keep them going. He had brown hair, freckles, ocean blue eyes and he was medium sized in height. He liked to play football and darts, but many other things like playing with his brother and helping his mum around the flat....
