Cold Feet The land stretches forever onwards but my feet are cold. I can walk no further. Your laughter echoes in my mind, a shadow of it's true self. I will never hear that laugh again. You left me here standing, waiting, searching for an answer that never came. And now my feet are cold as I stand here watching, watching the daylight slip away. I can't move forward or turn back I can only stand here watching, watching you drive away. What future do I have? My shoes lie on the backseat of your car as you slowly drive away. And all my hopes and dreams lie in the backseat of that car but it's now so far away. All I can do is watch and stand here, facing the future on my own, with cold feet.
