That's Not 'My' Coffee A friend and myself walked into a Starbucks today. I won't name names as to which store it was but on an unrelated note, Swindon. I asked my friend to order me a Flat White, which consists of an espresso with a small amount of milk placed flatly on top. The clue is in the name. However my when my coffee was made, a member of staff came over and told the lady making the coffee that my friend ordered a TALL flat white. So I received a huge mammoth ordinary coffee!!!! My friend (the terms of our friendship now in a state of flux and conditional) actually ordered a 'tall flat white'! That doesn't even exist! I have then had to discuss and debate for the next half an hour with my friend over wether he was in the wrong or it was the staff. Finally my friend accepted that he owed me a flat white coffee and eventually grew a pair to go ask for the correct coffee he should of asked first time round! Getting the right is important, coffee is not a general term!
