Day Dreamer The day dreamer, Should be my new nickname. The main dream maker, Even if they're insane. Lost I the creature of my mind, Swallows me up, Even when I try to hide. Screaming that's enough, But still baring teeth, With a low snarl and a growl. Standing above me; I'm beneath, With its deep throated howl. The many ears, Can hear my every movement. Bursting into tears, Doing everything to beat it. Thoughts in my mind, I don't ever want to think about. Shove it back down and scream; tried, Close my eyes; open my mouth, but nothing comes out. The creature takes over, There's nothing left to do. My heart jumps out of my shoulder And my mind races back to thoughts of you.
