Beyond The Door(part 2) ...Jack watched, entranced by the strang creature's movements, swift and elegant. As he stepped forward he felt pieces of stone brick underneath his feet; the remains of some kind of bridge!Suddenly Jack was hurtling down the pit, towards the waiting creature's mouth... When Jack woke up he felt cold, damp grass, the sane kind that was on his lawn! Suddenly the realization hit him. He was back home, in his lawn! Jack ran inside, went to his room and vowed he would never enter the forest again. THE END Prequel= Beyond the door by JackD/Jacob.

Beyond The Door ... When Jack opened the heavy, panelled door there was a blinding flash of light. and then silence. When He opened his eyes he found himself in a lush forest! It was darker in this forest than the one he had been walking in before he had found the door and the thick, green canopy anplified the several birds' songs. When he knelt down on the forest floor he noticed that the slivers of sunlight that made it through the canopy were projecting arrow-like shapes onto the muddy forest floor! Some time later, when he had been following the arrows in the ground he noticed that just metres ahead of him the ground fell away down into a wide, perfectly circular pit! And in the bottom of it something moved...
