The Soldiers - My Story. Chapter 1 -We have been through the worst to be here, we have met the best of our kind but now its time. The coaches have arived and now it is time for us all to say goodbye to our loved ones, some of us will not be seen again and others of us will not be seen in one peice, we are all in the same shoes and we all know what is yet to come. 42 Commando reach camp bastian at 0200 hours and the nerves are starting to get comfortable yet these soldiers are well trained in communications so they will always be there when another is in peril. Day 1 - The 'new guys' are on our first tour of afghanistan and are being led by Lieutenant Commander, Mark Wright. "I know your training, focus and stay confident, you are commandos. No man gets left behind" where his famous last words, Mark Wright - Deceased - 12th of October 2012. Chapter 2 - Many of the men are still mourning the loss of our Commanding Officer but we must carry on, out here there is no room for feeling sorry for each other, only room for our triumphant state of minds and the feeling that we must all just soldier on.
