The Hunt Chapter 2: The Nightmare Complete darkness surrounded Daniel. He was standing in a black void. He looked ahead, and saw from a distance a naked man fall from the top of the void, and hit the floor. The man laid down on his side, facing away from Daniel. From underneath the man a puddle of blood was beginning to form. From the right, a pale looking tiger walked to the man in a jittery way, half limping and half shaking. Each step seemed to hurt him more than the last, but the tiger kept eye contact on the fallen man. Daniel began to study the tiger, and noticed that it didn't seem like a tiger at all; it had just a similar shape. This tiger had shorter legs, with its back legs shorter than its front. It's mouth was constantly open, and it had no eyes or ears. It had no fur, and instead parts of its body were skinned and revealed flesh. Its claws were unnaturally long, and were covered in blood. The beast made its way to the man in its deformed way, until it finally reached him. It sat down for a moment. Then, it jumped up a couple of metres, stretching its short back legs, and extending its front legs up like a crazed monkey. It came back down, slashing its claws down on the man's stomach. He tore open like paper, revealing six gaping holes, from which bathtubs of blood gushed out and exploded all around him. Daniel was drenched. The creature jumped up again and again, slashing every time, cutting up the man and disembowelling him. His body was now so mangled that he wasn't recognisable as human anymore. He was now a lump of flesh, yet the beast kept jumping up, landing on his back legs, and smashing his claws down on the flesh. The tiger suddently stopped in its craze, and sat down. It sat there for a moment. It turned slowly. It gave a last jolt of its neck and looked at Daniel. He looked back at its gaping mouth. The beast's head twisted with a crack, and Daniel awoke screaming. He sat up on his bed and looked out of the window for a while, then noticed that he had a nosebleed. He got up, shakily, and walked to the bathroom to cure his nose.

The Hunt BASED ON A TRUE NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCED BY ME Chaper 1: The Pale Tiger The rain hit hard against the windows. A clash of thunder here and there brightened the dark room in which Daniel was watching TV. He slouched on his couch and had his eyes glued to the screen. His legs were up on the coffee table, and he crossed his arms for warmth. His phone rang, and he hesitated before answering. It was mum. "Hey Dan. Is everything ok?" "Everything is fine mum" sighed Daniel. "Seriously, nothing is going to go wrong!" "I guess you can look after yourself at this age..." whispered mum. "you should go to sleep. It's midnight!" "yeah yeah, whatever, bye mum!" Dan closed his phone and threw it to the other side of the couch. He stared back at the screen. He flicked through some channels, until he finally came across an animal documentary. He decided to settle on this channel, and he got back into his previous position. All of a sudden, a large bang was heard. The storm was more intense now, and it had taken away the electricity. Daniel frowned, checked the tv, then rolled his eyes. He stood there wandering what to do next, until he heard a faint buzzing coming from the tv. Daniel was too slow to see, but an image flashed on the screen. "Must be a glitch!" Daniel said to himself, and walked away. He stopped to scratch a sudden itch on his neck. He turned back one last time, and the TV turned off once again. He backed up slowly, then turned and hurried to his room. He tucked himself under the covers and slowly closed his eyes.

The Corruption Of Ideas I was walking home one night, and as I walked past a roundabout something strange happened. It started to collapse, fall down into the earth, like sand that finds a hole in a sheet of paper. As I watched the roundabout sink deep under the ground, I noticed that the roads from each exit were following in, and the hole was getting bigger and bigger. Soon, all the nearby cars, trees, roads, lampposts, shops and people were all getting sucked into this one hole, where the roundabout used to be. Everything fell down at an unimaginable speed now, and anything that couldn't fit was crushed. It all seemed like a blur of colour and sound. After some time, the land seemed to end, and the hole started to suck in the water from the oceans, leading to neighbouring countries and continents until everything had fallen into the hole of the roundabout. The last particle of dirt entered the hole, and the world was gone. A huge void in space where a planet rich in #life used to be. Where every animal, every human, every race, religion and idea had been lost down a hole. Then, something amazing happened. Out of the other side of the hole, into the black void, came a sudden rush of colours of blue, brown and green. The brown particles all came together to form a colossal sphere, varying in heights in different places. The blue particles filled in the low areas of the brown globe, leaving only some parts uncovered. Then, lastly, out of the hole came the green particles which covered the uncovered parts with #life. The world had been reborn. Animals started to roam the landscape again. Humans dominated the planet once more. But eventually, the inhabitants of the planet will corrupt it, and so the planet will prepare itself for rebirth once again.
