The Beginning, Or The End? Aunt Lilian looked over the ledge, her fate decided. The merry folk of the Acre Nut Old People's Home laughed weezily, danced arthritically, played sport poorly, but at least THEY were happy. Lilian wasn't old, she was only 53 but SHE was most certainly NOT happy. In fact she had seen her #life whizz past greyly and sullen, with her more eccentric brothers and sisters laughing and dancing through their well...less depressing lives. Well she had had enough. "I have had enough!" she said to herself one last time and with a strong movement she hitched up her heavy skirt, stepped up on to the stone balcony and jumped. The sound of the wind whipping past her ears had always delighted her, can depressed people feel delight?... You tell me! Well whatever the feeling was, Lilian felt it. In the last second of her existence she let out her melancholy sigh and smiled, she was finally satisfied. She crashed down onto the stone patio and died instantly. Still smiling.

Phyllis One fine day, when the cherry blossoms had well... blossomed, Phyllis sat in her chair, contempt with her successful morning of butterfly catching. Her feet ached slightly and her coat was itchy from the intense heat coming down from the mid-day sun. She watched as James and Andrew played badminton on the lawn, it made her feel so happy to think that James and Andrew were posh and not hooded gang members. Phyllis sat there every day on the chair in the window to watch whatever charming sport the boys would play. The day was lovely and Phyllis' mood was good. There was only one flaw to this day, Phyllis wished she could play badminton with the boys but of course she couldn't. For Phyllis was a cat.
