Racism A post on Imgur today really made me think. Racism and double standards are just still alive and well. There are clothing lines, magazines, tv channels, even dating sites specifically for Black Americans (i dont like the term african american, most of the black americans were born here african americans seems degrading and stereotypical). Anyway, if you were to make a whitepeoplemeet.com or White entertainment television youd be labeled a racist. If they made a scholarship related to being white itd be racist. Its the same as if you were to have a straight pride parade. Its reverse discrimination at its finest people.

Peer #depression hits home to me Ive never had it But i somehow end up surrounded by people who just cant see how truly great they are. They find shelter in a razor blade and turn down a helping hand pulling them into open arms But i understand. They need help And not the school counselor cheap generic brand Real help From someone who has been through it Lived the pain first hand So do away with the school counselor force feeding reheated "help" casserole. Make it a help group Student on student Let them bond together Show them they arent alone Not through picutres and statistics But through a physical presence of their peers

Realization I may have figured out part of my problem. It hurts to say but i know its true. I am afraid to grow up because i know full well im not ready. Im not ready to give up all night xbox marathons with my friends. Im not ready for fiscal and personal responsibilities. The world is a scary place when you have no idea what you wanna do with your #life. I know i need a job and i want one. Ready or not i guess i have no choice but to make it up as i go.

A Special Thanks To....Facebook? I owe a gigantic thank you to facebook. Without it i may have never met the girl i have been so absolutely head over heels in love with for the past 9 months. From just a random friend request to a highschool crush to the girl i want to someday call my wife. I know that seems like a little much for only 9 months but i know its right. I feel that fire whose only fuel is true love and compassion. She gets me and i get her. I find myself waking up almost every morning now clutching a pillow as if it were her. She is a goddess to me. She considers me her savior because i forced her into treatment of her severe anxiety which she otherwise would have been too ashamed to seek. I love this girl. Everything she does makes me melt. Weve been together for this long and i still get nervous and fumble my words when shes with me. It feels good to write about happiness for once
