Changes! I've made a change to the cast of my movie idea! Jasmine's older sister is not called Jennifer any more, and a different person plays her. Her name is now Tamsin Matthews and she's played by Natalie Dormer. By the way, I heard that Natalie Dormer is playing Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay! I can't wait!
Can't Be Happening That Potions class meant nothing! It was just a compliment, and a smile. There's no way that me and Potter can be becoming anything close to friends! Enemies always stay enemies, that's the way it's supposed to be! And I couldn't face walking into the common room and being pelted with questions and being laughed at by my friends! That's what would happen if Potter and me became "friends". Maybe it would have been possible before we started our first year, before he rejected me, but I just don't see how it could ever happen now.
Potions Class I've started my sixth year at Hogwarts. We've been practising Apparating for weeks, but I can't take the final test because I'm sixteen. So I still have to go to Potions class. I dragged my feet as I walked to the dungeons. I opened the door slowly. "Ah, Mr Malfoy! I suppose you are not yet seventeen?" Professor Slughorn beamed at me. I shook my head. "Well, you're not entirely alone, there's Mr Potter here" He pointed to the table in the corner. My eyes followed his finger, and widened in shock. Harry Potter was sitting there by himself, reading his textbook. "What kind of person reads a textbook in their spare time?" I thought to myself. "Can I sit by myself at another table, Professor?" I asked. "No, Mr Malfoy, you will work in a pair with Mr Potter today" He told me. I groaned, but went to sit next to Potter. He looked up, and he acknowledged me with a slight nod, then went back to his textbook. I turned away and didn't look at him. Slughorn coughed uncertainly. I suppose that means he didn't know of the enmity between me and Potter. Huh. I thought everyone knew about that. "Well then, today you will be working together to make a potion called Euphoria." Slughorn announced. I pulled out my book, found the page, and got out the ingredients I needed. Potter immediately began doing things that were definitely not in the textbook. I looked at the professor, and he'd fallen asleep in his chair. "Potter! What the hell are you doing?!" I hissed under my breath. He simply shoved the book towards me, and I saw all kinds of weird things written on the page. A completely different set of instructions, and spells I'd never heard of before. I looked at the step Potter was on, and got the stuff for the next one, dropped it in the cauldron and stirred it the way the person who wrote the notes said to. The potion turned a bright yellow, which, is actually what it's supposed to do. I tried not to look surprised. Potter picked up a peppermint leaf and put it in. A strong scent of peppermint filled the air, waking Slughorn up. "Oh, have you done it?" He called over. "Yes" Potter replied. He came over and inspected it. "Why, it's perfect! I heard that you two hated each other from day one, but you really do work well together! Ten points to Gryffindor and Slytherin! Very well, boys, you may go" I picked up my stuff and headed for the door. Potter followed me out. "Hey, Draco?" I turned round. Potter was smiling at me. "Thanks for your help" And I knew he meant it. "No problem, Harry." I said. And I found myself smiling as well. As soon as he'd left, I ran for the common room, into the dormitory, and threw myself onto my bed. I can't believe that I just called him Harry! And smiled at him! That Euphoria potion must have messed with my mind.
