James And lily headcannon Halloween night at Hogwarts. Everyone is at the Halloween feast in the great hall. Everyone smiling, laughing and all dressed up in their scariest costumes. Lily Evans is sitting at the Gryffindor table looking over at Severus making funny faces trying to make him laugh as he was having a hard time. Even in her scary Halloween costume she was still the most beautiful girl Severus had ever seen. 'Lily' shouted a deep voice from across the table, 'Lily'. Lily looks over to see James Potter, Gryffindor Quidditch captain. He smiled at her and she smiled back with a confused look on her face, why did he want to speak to her she thought. James gently threw a paper airplane toward lily which landed infront of her and opened up. Inside read 'Do you have a boyfriend?'. She looked at him, blushed and shook her head. He then wrote on another piece of paper, made it into a very realistic plane and threw it towards lily again. This time it read 'Do you want one? Meet me in the common room after the feast'. She smiled and looked away to see Severus had disappeared but she was so flustered she didn't think anything of it. The feast finished at around nine and everyone went back to their common rooms. When lily got to the Gryffindor common room she saw James siting by the fire alone, she walked over to him and before she could even speak he told her how she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. Lily had never been complimented like this before so she didn't know what to say, he gestured for her to sit next to him, so she did. They then began to talk about anything and everything until they were the last two there. At around half past eleven Lily started to yawn, James then stood up and held out his hand. Lily took his hand and stood up, he then walked her to the bottom of the girls dormitory stairs and kissed her gently on the cheek and wished her goodnight. She didn't say anything, she just smiled. As she walked away, James said 'same time tomorrow?'. She nodded, smiled and walked away to tell her best friend about her night. James walked to his dormitory, got straight into bed and fell asleep with a smile on his face, he had never been so happy. A few weeks later they started dating and fell in love.
