RIDDLE A man was locked in a room with a window facing the door and a desk facing the door. When the door was reopened two hours later the man was found sitting dead at the desk with a shot wound in the back of his head and a puddle of water on the floor. No one had entered the room or left the room while the man was locked in and the window hadn't been shot through. How was he killed? ANSWER The puddle of water had come from a block of ice that had held the window open so the bullet could enter the room without shattering the window. And when the ice had melted the window had shut.
