Dreamer's Paradise A mountain face, A waterfall flowing down, Mossy rocks and leaping frogs. Swinging ivy, Fallen from its tree waving in the wind. Whispering grass hoppers, Singing from their hearts while clung to the Luscious green grass. A bird of prey swoops, Thundering through the wind, Then diving and gliding with such perfect Elegance. Monkeys swing, That branch, That branch, This tree is mine and I know it. Firm hands holding strong branches, A tail wavering in the wind preserving the Motionless balance. A furious roar and a leap with claws and Teeth thrown forward all at once, As the tiger misses, Pulling one feather from the fleeing bird. The bird soars high, The wind under its wings taking it far in its Precious freedom, Almost lost but still fighting. A child running, Leaping over rivers, Climbing mountains. Climbing trees, Replying in whispers to the grass hoppers. Gazing up with awe at the bird of prey, With the wondering, Dream filled thought of inventing wings. Dancing through a jungle, As the monkeys have claimed the trees let Us use nature’s floor. Skipping by the tiger’s side, Picking up the fallen feather. With a quick puff, Blowing it away, Drifting into the seemingly endless sky. For maybe the bird would be to catch it One day, And sew it back onto its feather coat.
Dont Swing So Easy Don't swing so easy, When plans go wrong and turn against you. Keep your feet firmly down. Don't run so easy, When fears create obstacles blocking your path. Grab your boots and climb them. Don't slam doors so easy, When people come offering a helping hand. Slide the key under the door. Don't hide so easy, When you are haunted by the world's offences. Go and take your say. Don't give in so easy, When everything gets to be too much for you. You have a #life to live.
What is What is holding back your radiant happiness? A bruise you're hiding you can't confess. Part of you is hiding afraid to come out. Your future distant overwhelmed by doubt. What is a brave face doing on a hurting soul? Forever you'll be falling lost all control. Do something fast before your wits end. People have more than just pain to lend. What is your mind doing hurting your own heart? As if on a mission to tear you apart. Scratching at unhealed scars. Caging your emotions in a million jars.
Forgotten Clarity Losing control of my mind, No serenity can I find. Emotions like a tidal wave, Leaving nothing to save. Heart racing like a train, No way to escape this lane. Loosing touch with reality, Lord help me find my clarity. Pinching myself let's return to now, But my mind says no forgetting how. I'll escape just give me time, But it won't be a rapid climb. Hand out my pocket frost bite me, Free me from this trap and let me see. Loosing touch with reality, Lord help me find my clarity.
